Samara currently resides in Denver, Colorado and is pursuing a BFA in Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.

Her work draws from both traditional illustration and tattoo-influenced linework, with a focus on controlled detail and intentional mark making. She works primarily in ink and mixed traditional media, using line to build atmosphere rather than spectacle.

Inspired by natural forms, quiet symbolism, and personal narrative, her illustrations often explore growth, identity, memory, and the relationship between people and the spaces they inhabit. Many pieces begin as observational studies and develop into more interpretive imagery, allowing realism and stylization to coexist.

Samara’s long-term goal is to build a practice that bridges illustration and tattooing - creating work meant not only to be viewed, but lived with. This site is a working portfolio and will continue to evolve as that practice develops.
